We Must End Racism, Bigotry, and Prejudice Against Black Americans in Our Society

We need change and action and all must do our part.

We acknowledge the silence for years that has been deafening and know that we can never say or do enough, and we support the Black Lives Matter movement.  We pledge to keep learning, listening, acting, and encouraging others to do the same.

As you know, we've been committed to supporting the Black community and stepped up during last April's mask shortage by donating medical masks to the heavily Black populated in-need facilities on Chicago's South and West sides. This did help save Black lives disproportionately affected by the Covid crisis.  But it doesn't end there.

We will continue to support True Chicago, where business leaders educate young creatives in Black communities, donate to the Equal Justice Initiative, and keep working with our Black business partners to further efforts in ways most meaningful to progressing this effort.

Until we live in a society where all women and men are not impeded by barriers such as skin color, national origin, or economic status, we won’t fully achieve the promise of America.

Here are some things you can do with us:

  • Make financial investments in organizations that help fight crimes and injustice against Black people

  • Stop being complicit and silent at work, in your community, and within your homes, allowing racism to be tolerated in any capacity

  • Create opportunities and provide on-going support for black professionals in your workplace

From our founder Nicholas: β€œI am late, this is overdue, and I am sorry.  There is no bandwagon for me.  Without the Black community and Black individuals, I would be without some of the best times, conversations of growth, inspiration, and most importantly, some of the best people and families that have touched my life. Please join me in working to end racism, bigotry, and prejudice against Black people.”
